PANL Takes a Front Row Seat at OSU College of Osteopathy Tahlequah

Acoustics is increasingly important in the educational space for a multitude of reasons. In addition to the general distractibility of excess noise, speech intelligibility is one of the most important factors in creating a productive learning environment.

We recently worked with Childers Architect to provide acoustical solutions in the OSU College of Osteopathy, Tahlequah. As a facility that includes a hospital simulation (including typical hospital soundscapes), dampening that noise in other areas of the building that function as classrooms is vital for student learning and success.

We incorporated PANL in the classrooms and other study areas to help cut down on reverberation. To maintain a contemporary aesthetic, we incorporated a triangle perforation.
