Acoustic Panel with Linear Wood Slats

Strata VW breaks from repetition with a dynamic pattern of variable-width, real wood veneer slats, creating a richer architectural rhythm with more movement, depth, and visual interest. Designed as a ceiling and wall acoustic panel, Strata VW installs with screws or adhesive over drywall, plywood, or other flat, structurally sound surfaces.

Installation

Strata VW can be screwed directly to a wall, screwed to furring strips, or installed with adhesive. Ceiling installs use furring strips spaced every 24″. Place screws about every 16″ to 24″, and only on the PET felt between wood slats, never on the wood. Panels can be cut on site to fit around obstacles, and Strata VW looks best installed with no gaps between ends or rows.

Hardware

Strata VW installs with screws or adhesive. Mechanical installs use 1.25″ black drywall screws, and adhesive installs use Liquid Nail or 3095 Carpet Glue Adhesive.
